29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: Baseline and annual audiometric testing was not provided to employees performing woodworking operations in areas where noise levels exceeded the 85 dBA 8-hour time weighted average action level. a) Fabrication Shop: On November 10, 2021, An employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighed average noise level of 92.8 dBA(an equivalent dose of 147.9%) while operating the double wood planer. b) Fabrication Shop: On November 10, 2021, An employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighed average noise level of 87.1 dBA(an equivalent dose of 67.0%) while operating woodworking machinery including the ripsaw, table saw, and belt sander. c) Fabrication Shop: On November 10, 2021, An employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighed average noise level of 89.9 dBA (an equivalent dose of 99.2%) while operating the molder.
