OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employee such as caught in and pinch point hazards from frayed conveyor belts. a. 156 West Harrisburg Avenue Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania - On or about October 19, 2021, The conveyor belt for the Hytrol Conveyor serial #11P871, was frayed, exposing employees to a potential caught in hazard. b. 156 West Harrisburg Avenue Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania - On or about October 19, 2021, The conveyor belt for the Hytrol Conveyor serial # 11AU31 was frayed on the wall side, and the belt connector fastener on the wall side had disconnected from both sides of the belt, exposing employees to a caught in hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
