29 CFR 1910.184(c)(1):Sling(s) that were damaged or defective were used: On or about September 20, 2021, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while using a 2 ton R&M Overhead Crane to move a buggy from the floor to a pallet. The employees were using a four part alloy chain sling to lift the part and the employer did not ensure that the safety latch was in place.
