29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator pass an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT). a) Memory Care - Reflections: On September 21, and prior to, the employer required the use of full PPE during an outbreak of COVID-19 which included the use of an N95, gown, booties, safety eyewear, and gloves but had not fit tested nurses, caregivers, or administrative and support staff providing services and/or visiting Memory Care. Note* Abatement certification IS required for this item.
