29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking / working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a. At the job-site located at 1005 Harbor Lake Drive, Safety Harbor, Florida: On or about September 10, 2021, employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than 20-feet while working on the roof of a systems-engineered metal building, performing roof decking removal and installation. The roof had a 1:12 pitch; 20-feet to the eave and 25-feet to the center top. There were no guardrails, safety net, positioning devices, fall restraint systems or personal fall arrest system.
