29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) MCAS BEQ Project, Building 5697/56988: Employee(s) used hazardous chemicals such as Hilti FireStop Sealant, Loctite ThreadLocker Sealant, Hercules Megaloc Pipe Thread Sealant, and Canfield Lead Free Solid Wire Solder during plumbing installation operations. The employer had not provided training specific to the health and safety hazards of the products at the time of initial assignment. Employees were exposed to chemical hazard(s).
