29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1):29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. a) The employer fails to ensure effective protection against trip hazards as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about August 31, 2021, at 1288 Beaverdale Rd NE Dalton, Georgia, when merchandise, roll-tainers. and empty boxes stacked higher than 6 feet blocked the passageway and storeroom, not allowing safe passageway for employees to move product in and out of the backroom onto the sales floor and from delivery trucks.
