29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Facilities at 940 and 950 Wellington Avenue, Cranston RI: On or about August 18, 2021, the employer did not ensure the Corian shop (bldg. 940) and the stone fabrication shop (bldg. 950) were kept in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition exposing employees to slip, trip and fall hazards. a.) The Corian shop floor, window ledges, and electrical outlets were covered in dust. b.) The stone fabrication shop floor was covered in dry dust that contained silica. Work stations were covered with dust and debris and the floor was covered with debris.
