29 CFR 1926.501(c)(3): The employer did not barricade the area to which objects could fall, did not prohibit employees from entering the barricaded area, and did not keep objects that could fall far enough away from the edge of a higher level so that the those objects would not go over the edge if they were accidentally displaced. IN THE ALTERNATIVE 29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2)(i): Where there is a danger of tools, materials, or equipment falling from a scaffold and striking employees below, the area below the scaffold was not barricaded, and employees were not prohibited from entering the hazard area. Location: 70 Amsterdam Avenue, Building #2, New York, NY. The employer did not barricade and/or prohibit employees from working/walking in an area below where objects could fall. Employees were working on pipe scaffold platform when a 5 gallon of paint bucket carrying fa�ade bricks had the handle snapped, and the live load of bricks fell on a worker below. On or about 07/07/2021.
