29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) General Mills Operations LLC, 2500 9th Avenue North, Great Falls, MT: On or about July 7, 2021 and at times prior, employees were exposed to caught in and amputation hazards while performing glue removal and cleaning operations on an unguarded infeed roller gear on the 5 pound Hesser packaging machine.
