29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was four feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Tank Oven Room; on or about June 25, 2021, and times prior to, the employer did not ensure employees unloading a storage tank were provided a means of fall protection, employees, were exposed to a 52 inch fall to the concrete floor while working in and around the storage tank.
