29 CFR 1910.213(a)(9): All belts, pulleys, gears, shafts, and moving parts shall be guarded in accordance with the specific requirements of 1910.219. a. On or about June 24, 2021, the employer failed to provide guarding for all belts and moving parts for the Off-Bearing Conveyor for Slicer #17 (Slicer #17, Make: Capital Machines Company, S/N AA9) in order to protect employees from caught-in hazards. As a result an employee had their left hand caught-in between the moving parts and belts of the Off-Bearing Conveyor for Slicer #17.
