29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. 1000 North Ave., Plainfield, NJ - Deck The employer does not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities were protected from falls. Employees engaged in concrete masonry activities, installing shoring on the deck above the parking garage, worked at or near an unprotected edge and were not utilizing personal fall protection by attaching a lanyard to their fall harnesses and/or protected by any other means of fall protection.
