29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely: (a) On or about April 29, 2021, employees working to install blocking on an exterior parapet wall were exposed to a fall hazard in that the employer never determined the strength and structural integrity of the metal mesh installed onto the roof that the employees had to walk across to access their work.
