29 CFR 1926.1427(a): General requirements for operators. The employer did not ensure that each operator is trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. New residential construction located on Lot #177, 59 Silver Birch Pass, Front driveway/street area: On or about 04/27/2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while installing trusses, in that a the crane operator was not certified or licensed to operate the Elliott (Model 28105R) Truck Mounted 28-ton Hydraulic Boom Crane. BSL Framing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1427(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1423215, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/25/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #75, 125 Oakleigh Manor, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
