29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(i): Selection of appropriate respirators was not based on the respiratory hazard(s) to which the worker was exposed and user factors that affect respirator performance and reliability: On or about March 19, 2021, the employer failed to select an appropriate respirator when an employee spraying chemicals including, but not limited to, HS Plus Surfacer/Sealer Hardener, was not provided an air-fed respirator as indicated as necessary by the manufacturer's safety data sheet.
