29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about March 12, 2021, on the balcony of building 18, where employees were exposed to fall hazards exceeding six feet when performing concrete coating without a fall protection system. Specialty Concrete Coating of Texas was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450883, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/24/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1215 Sawyer, Houston, TX 77007.
