29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and Sparks: A) Cooper Standard Automotive, on March 3, 2021, at the address of 1175 N. Main St. Bowling Green, OH: The employer did not assure employees were protected from a spring-loaded pinch roller while feeding flat rubber in the stock feeder �Ext C� on Flock Line 14 which resulted in an employee suffering a crushing injury of the right index finger.
