29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. This hazard was created by the absence of a prestart up alarm and the absence of emergency stop devices. There was no emergency stop located in the vicinity of the conveyor to stop the conveyor in the event of employees getting caught in or between ingoing nip points on the conveyor. Building CF2 Manure Storage: On or about February 3, 2021, the manure conveyor located in this building was not provided with a prestart up warning device or emergency stop device in the vicinity of the conveyor, exposing employees to moving parts and ingoing nip points on the conveyor.
