29 CFR 1910.147(a)(3)(i):The employer did not utilize procedures for affixing appropriate lockout devices or tagout devices to energy isolating devices, and to otherwise disable machines or equipment to prevent unexpected energization, start up or release of stored energy in order to prevent injury to employees: a. At the waste yard near the maintenance shop located at 5570 Korbin Ave., Rockledge, FL: On or about February 1, 2021, employees were exposed to caught-in-between and crushing hazards, in that; hydraulic system repair and / or maintenance of a 2005, Kenworth 200 T Model T300, Truck #117, were being performed without existing energy control procedures.
