29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3) Scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity. a) On or about January 29, 2021 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working from a two-point suspension Sky Climber scaffold of which there was no documentation that is was inspected by a competent person to ensure it was maintained and utilized in a safe condition. b) On or about January 29, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employees were expose to a fall hazard while working from a single point suspension Spider scaffold of which there was no documentation that it was inspected by a competent person to ensure it was maintained and utilized in a safe condition.
