Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Production Area, Can Filler: On or about December 16, 2020, and at times prior, maintenance employees were exposed to struck-by hazards, in that no specific procedures to control hazardous pneumatic energy were developed and documented for servicing the beverage can filler. The Bottling Group, LLC dba Pepsi Beverages Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1253549, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on November 2, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 6100 NE Loop 410, in San Antonio, Texas.
