29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). At a worksite located at 10201 View High Drive, Lee's Summit, MO: Employees were exposed to caught-in or crushing hazards. This was demonstrated on December 7, 2020 when workers enter an excavation at 5 feet in depth with a protective system. The employer failed to ensure that a adequate protective system was in place.
