OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard while working in the shadow of blue stone slabs during a material handling activity: (a) Jobsite in Middletown RI: On or about 11/11/2020, the employer did not develop and implement an effective stone slab-handling procedure that addressed adequate bracing and stability, jobsite assessments to select appropriate material handling equipment and training for employees working in the stone slab material handling zone.
