29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut or an equally adequate guard: a. On or about October 8, 2020, located in the PreHung Department, employees were operating an inadequately guarded Altendorf F45 handfed sliding table saw to rip narrow pieces of wood material. The guard on the saw was not adjusted to completely enclose the portion of the saw above the material being cut, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
