29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3):Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) On or about September 22, 2020; the Storage Room/Training area ; the employer had boxes of merchandise stowed in the exit route creating a trip hazard as well as limiting the width of the route below 28 inches. The Dollar Tree was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1463783, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 581 Second Street, Manchester, NH 03103. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
