Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a) 900 S. York Road, Willow Grove - On or about September 1, 2020, an employee operating an aerial lift came within the minimum safe approach distance (MSAD) of the energized overhead power line causing current to arc from the power line to the aerial lift. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
