29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section a) Par Fry Department: On August 28, 2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that the employer allowed machine operators to perform set up activities on the the Pacmac Term-A-Zip vertical form fill and seal machine without utilizing the energy control procedures developed for the machine. Set up requires employees to replace components, including blades, within the machine.
