29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employee(s) working in an aerial lift were sitting or climbing on the edge of the basket. On or about August 25, 2020, on the northeast side of a building being constructed where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while climbing on the side of the aerial lift basket to weld a steel beam. Sonny Steel Erectors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.453(b)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1395413, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 1, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 1765 & 1769 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546.
