29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to explosion hazards: On or about August 21, 2020, and at times prior thereto, in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, the employer did not ensure utilities were adequately located and identified for employees engaged in dredging activities.
