29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about 08/13/2020, at the job site - employees conducting roofing work from a 6:12 pitched roof of a two-story apartment building were exposed to a 17 feet 9 inch fall hazard, in that, fall protection was not used properly. Some employees did not connect the lanyards to anchor points and there were multiple employees connecting to a single anchor while laying down tarps. b. On or about 08/19/2020, at the job site - an employee was exposed to a 17 feet 9 inch fall hazard from a 6:12 pitched roof while conducting re-roofing work, in that, fall protection was not used.
