29 CFR 1910.307(g)(2)(i):Locations were not classified depending on the properties of the flammable vapors, liquids, or gases that may be present and the likelihood that a flammable or combustible concentration or quantity is present. a) On or about 06-19-2020, located at BWXT NOG-Lynchburg 1570 Mt. Athos Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24504, the Super Compactor Cell was not classified for flammable hazards where compacting 55 gallon drums of flammable isopropyl alcohol 99% concentration saturated rags was being performed. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
