OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from fall and struck by hazards: On or about 6/30/2020, at the worksite located SW 160th Avenue in Miramar, FL 33023, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while operating a mobile aerial lifting device. Recommended Abatement Action: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to ensure mobile boom truck inspections are conducted by a qualified person in adequate intervals: (1) Frequent Inspection and Test: Daily to monthly intervals. (2) Periodic Inspection and Test: One to twelve month intervals.
