1910.266(d)(7)(i) Hand signals or audible contact, such as but not limited to, whistles, horns, or radios, shall be utilized whenever noise, distance, restricted visibility, or other factors prevent clear understanding of normal voice communications between employees. OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falling tree limbs while in the drop zone. (a) Jobsite- 1576 Jacob Miller Road, Rector, PA: On or about June 3, 2020, an employee was working from a bucket truck conducting tree removal operations, while another employee was in the drop zone and was stuck by a tree limb that the employee in the bucket truck threw into the drop zone.
