29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) was used: a) Telemetry The employer did not provide fit tests to employees including but not limited to, Register nurses (RNs) and Patient Care Providers (PCPs), when a different respirator make and/or model was used. Employees were provided Cardinal Health USA-N95 and 3M N95 respirators to care for COVID-19 positive patients or patients under investigation(PUIs) without a fit test. Employees were initially fit tested for Technol duckbill N95 respirators. Violation occurred on or around 5/15/2020 through 5/30/2020.
