29 CFR 1926.1428(a): The employer of the signal person must ensure that each signal person meets the Qualification Requirements (paragraph (c) of this section) prior to giving any signals. Location: Jobsite On or about June 3, 2020, an employee was directing a crane with hand and arm signals without the proper qualifications, at the time of an accident, where an employee was injured when a load of panel forms shifted while being landed by a crane.
