OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard from an adjacent tree: a) This violation occurred on or about May 6, 2020 at the site where employees using an adjacent tree as a rigging point were exposed to a struck by hazard when lowering tree limbs.
