29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) Plant and Engineering Department - On or after 3/20/2020, an employee working as an electrician was required to wear an N95 respirator while running power lines for HEPA filter and communication lines for monitors. The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee was required to wear the respirator in the workplace. b) Plant and Engineering Department - On or after 3/21/2020, an employee working as an electrician was required to wear an N95 respirator while running extension cords for emergency power to rooms on F3 unit corridor. The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator before the employee was required to wear the respirator in the workplace. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
