OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Public Law 91-596, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazard: (a) Red Tag Area, Stud Line - On or about February 26, 2020 the employer allowed employees to operate a DeShazo 3 ton underhung crane with pendant operating control buttons that were not marked to indicate function exposing employees to being struck by loads lifted by the crane. (b) Red Tag Area - On or about February 25, 2020 the employer allowed employees to use roller bed conveyors that were not equipped with stops to prevent transformer tanks from falling off the conveyors exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
