29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a- Building 200, 211 - 224 Betty Lane, Ewing NJ - Worksite workers were exposed to electric shock hazards when using a DeWalt radial arm chop saw that was powered with a flexible cord that was without strain relief. Condition observed on or about 02/27/20. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
