29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a. On or about February 6, 2019, an electrical power supply for a light fixture was not provided strain relief protection. The dock light, located at Dock 36, had the strain relief for the cable pulled apart from the entry into the housing of the light. The dock light was used when accessing trailers parked at that dock location.
