OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSHA ACT of Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to serious harm to employees exposed to being struck by and /or crushed by various sized metal cans: a) 1801 Ritner Hwy - Employees attempting to remove various sized metal cans that become jammed throughout the conveyor system were exposed to caught-in hazards.l The employer did not ensure that an emergency stop pull cord was installed along the conveyor system, on or about January 30, 2020. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
