29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns. a) Worksite, inside the main excavation: Three employees were performing trenching and excavation alongside and directly below the moving boom and bucket of a CAT Excavator Model 336E, PIN: 0336ECBZY01587 and were not wearing head protection: on or about 01/28/2020. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
