29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): Loading Dock: An employee was allowed to operate a power industrial truck without being trained and evaluated. Employees who work in the area were exposed to struck by hazards. The U. S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1227349, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/18/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1150 McDowell Blvd. Petaluma, CA 94999.
