29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(C): Where lockout is used for energy control, the periodic inspection did not include a review, between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected. a) Jobsite: 16 Anderson Rd, Parker Ford, PA, manufacturing plant, dry side - As the controlling employer, employees servicing the Dry Side machine were exposed to struck-by and entanglement hazards. The employer did not conduct periodic inspections of the energy control procedures at least annually with each employee who clears jams to ensure that they properly implement lockout for the control of hazardous energy.
