OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about December 11, 2019 at the worksite at 1331 Lions Club road in Madison, Georgia located in the mechanic shop building, employees were exposed to amputation hazards, when the employer failed to ensure that the foot pedal serving as an operator control for the power press brake was equipped with a means to prevent unintended actuation.
