29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. (a) Delphi press robotic cell: On or about November 16, 2019, The employer did not utilize procedures to insure Robotic press cell was deenergized and locked out when employee(s) entered the safety system enclosure to clear a jam on production process equipment. This exposed employee(s) working on or around robotic press cell to point of operation, ingoing nip point, rotating parts, struck by, and/or crushing hazards. (b)Delphi press robotic cell: On or about November 25, 2019, The employer did not utilize procedures toinsure Robotic press cell was deenergized and locked out when employee(s) entered and/or reached into the safety system enclosure and related machines to work on a press that had been continually jamming during the production process. This exposed employee(s) working on, or around the robotic press cell to point of operation, ingoing nip point, rotating parts, struck by, and/or crushing hazards.
