Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: a) Throughout Automotive Shop: On or about November 14, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from a 1/2" polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is being used to transfer compressed air. b) FMC Blue 10,000 Pound Automotive Lift: On or about November 14, 2019 and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while elevating vehicles on an automotive lift that contained a leaking lift cylinder.
