29 CFR 1910.335(a)(2)(ii): Protective shields, protective barriers, or insulating materials were not used to protect each employee from shock, burns, or other electrically related injuries while that employee was working near exposed energized parts which might be accidentally contacted or where dangerous eclectic heating or arching might occur. (a) On or about November 1, 2019, an employee was exposed to arc flash burns while assisting an electrician near exposed energized parts without any protective clothing, shields, barriers or insulating materials in place.
