29 CFR 1928.57(a)(6)(ii): Permit no riders on farm field equipment other than persons required for instruction or assistance in machine operation: a. 1236 Wayne Poultry Road, Pendergrass, GA (Jobsite) - Employees were exposed to struck-by. Employees are operating the farm tractor in a unsafe manner; permitting others (non designated) to be riders on the farm field tractor. Employees are standing on the step of the tractor while the farm equipment is in motion, exposing employees to fall and/or struck-by hazard, on or about October 24, 2019. Lathem Farms, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1928.57(a)(6)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1074648, Citation number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 21, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1236 Wayne Poultry Road, Pendergrass, GA 30567.
